What HISA covers
HISA pays for improvements a VA clinician deems medically necessary for treatment or access: ramps, walk-in tubs and roll-in showers, widened doorways, lowered counters, and modified entrances. It does not cover general remodeling, new construction, or hot tubs.

How to apply
